![]() That makes all the difference between hard times and hard faith. Just know that you have the truth, and that God is keeping his promise to you. Don’t try to justify anything in your head. So, when we are struggling, don’t try to reason everything out. ![]() We can move forward into a place where we know that God is right, and we are never alone. We can start moving towards a faith that is stronger than ever. We can go forward instead of being stagnant. When we understand what the Bible says about having faith in hard times, we become more confident and stop wondering if we are making the right decisions. We can get past any feelings of failure and even triumph. If we are willing to put our trust and Him in place, then we can find strength to move forward. Instead of trying to control situations or blame others, we should go by the principles that He revealed to us. Instead of trying to work things out on our own, it would be better to trust in Him. We know that if we are trusting in Him, then we cannot fail. We know that He wants us to accomplish things for Him. What if we truly know that God has placed us on this earth to learn and grow. In fact, it says that we should not trust in ourselves anymore. What does the Bible say about having faith in difficult times? The Bible says that we should trust Him. We should believe that He can and will help us even when it seems as though we are alone. We should be willing to wait for His ways, even when it may seem as though they are moving against us. If we simply try to control events within our own life, then we might be disappointed when those events do not work out the way we expect them to. We should be willing to allow God to work things out in His time. There is nothing that makes us fear more than having to think about those things again, after having had such things happen before. We know that God has plans for us in every situation. He specifically stated that He would never again destroy the world by fire. It is comforting to know that the Bible contains promises that God has made regarding our future. We can look to God, however, for comfort and encouragement. We are often left with nothing but the clothes on our back and the thoughts that life is over. Our friends and families have either abandoned us or don’t understand what has happened to us. People we once counted upon no longer appear to be willing to stand behind us. ![]() When we lose our jobs, it can seem as though the world is tumbling down on our shoulders. Sometimes it is necessary to look to the Bible for the answer to our problems in hard times. We must be willing to ask Him for His help. It is up to us as Christian to discern what circumstances will bring us comfort. The Bible does not present a set of answers for every situation. ![]() But what does the Bible say about having faith in difficult times? How do you maintain your faith in God, even when everything goes wrong? Often times, we become discouraged and lose faith in God. Many Christians are facing difficult times in their lives and wondering if and how they should respond to adversity. When we close our eyes for a night’s sleep, our minds may begin turning over a million what-ifs about tomorrow, filling us with anxiety about circumstances beyond our control. We might fear losing someone dear to us, or worry about our future or our children’s. Fear does, after all, have a way of creeping in on us, though we may close the windows tight and double check the doors. It is no wonder that the message to “Fear not…” appears so frequently in the Bible.
